Increasingly Wedding & Event Stylists are being called upon to offer a full service to their clients, which includes floral styling.  With florals playing such a prominent role in the design of almost all weddings and most events, there has never been a better time to learn the skills of floral event styling.

In this Workshop you will:

  • Learn the essentials of floral event styling, including what equipment you need

  • Learn how to source flowers, cost and quote 

  • Create two popular and modern types of centrepiece design

  • Participate in a demonstration of how to create 2 different styles of floral wreath, before creating your own

  • Gain a deeper understanding of social media for business, with a focus on Instagram and how to use social media to tell your brand story and attract your ideal client

  • Have your work photographed by a professional photographer and get a Headshot, so you have images for your portfolio or website

This is a hands-on workshop, which include demonstrations and the opportunity to work on your own designs with the guidance of professionals.  We will also be inviting all participants to submit questions ahead of the workshop, so sessions can be further tailored to meet your individual needs.  

You will take your designs home with you at the end of the day, but that’s not all that included.  You will also enjoy;

We have taken our 30+ combined years of experience and 100’s of weddings planned, designed, styled and photographed to create a comprehensive workshop with real life lessons, step-by-step plans, tips and tools to give you a solid foundation for taking the next step in your own career.

Christine Ligthart

Christine Ligthart is the Founder of the I Do Crew, which specialises in offering On the Day Coordination services and supplying Event Staff Australia wide.  She also still works as a Wedding Planner & Stylist when she can and not busy with her other roles including being a Wedding & Event Tutor and Co-Founder of Styled Images.  

Christine has played an instrumental role in helping the International Academy of Wedding & Event Planning grow from one campus and one course in Australia, to having 6 campuses and 1000’s of Graduates, world-wide.  She has extensive experience of sales, online marketing, content marketing and social media marketing and has been involved in the branding and re-branding of a number of industry businesses, giving her a unique insight into what it takes to style a brand, find your ideal customer and close the deal.


Lisa Macale

Lisa Macale is a professional Wedding Planner, Styling and Designer and Tutor with the Australian Academy of Wedding & Event Planning.  She holds a Bachelor of Business and is a Co-Founder of Styled Images.  Lisa has had her work featured in several top international wedding magazines and blogs. She was also named one of the top 25 stylists in Australia by Modern Wedding Magazine and is known for her elegant, contemporary style. Having been through the process of starting her own business in the Wedding industry and having helped many others to do the same, Lisa has a wealth of knowledge to share with Workshop participants.

Amey Rosenthal

Amey Rosenthal is an experienced and much sought-after Wedding & Event Planner, Stylist and Floral Designer who works in the South East Qld region.  As the Creative Director and Founder of The Perfect Party Co. she has honed her skills in not just creating the most amazing looking party that blows her clients’ minds, but in running a very successful business.  Spend a little time browsing Amey’s Instagram feed and you will be in no doubt as to why Amey is the ideal person to teach you floral event styling & business.


Kate Taylor

Kate Taylor of Quince & Mulberry Studios is one of our favourite local photographers and someone we (Lisa & Christine) have worked with closely over many years.  Kate’s Instagram feed also reveals the true depth of her talent, but it is this quote from her website that really sums up why Kate’s work is so seriously GOOD and why we are incredibly happy that she will be joining us to photograph you and your work at this workshop.
